Why Us ?
Today, many families are geographically dispersed and adult children of aging seniors are often not able to help in the moving process due to distance, career and family obligations. For family members living far away, the barriers may be geographic.
| Many seniors have no surviving children, or increasingly, their children are older adults themselves. If illness or death precipitates the move, the family is likely already drained both emotionally and physically. They need help. Senior move management has emerged to fill these gaps and to facilitate the transition for everyone involved. |  |
Older adults making a transition have usually not moved in 30, 40 or 50 years and need to downsize considerably. The organizational and physical tasks associated with planning and implementing such a complex move can be overwhelming for the entire family.
For many of the same reasons that senior move management has emerged, families are finding that they are becoming overwhelmed by the possessions and clutter in the home. People are concentrating on families and career and find themselves unable to control the sheer volume of possessions that have taken over their homes.

Rates
Customized Transitions has a set hourly rate and usually works in blocks of time but customizes schedules for each client. The client is provided with a list of services and upon consultation they determine with the employee what is required, clients are given a detailed invoice upon completion of the service.
Please remember that we can do in hours what may take our clients days or sometimes weeks to complete.
